EARLY DISMISSAL ON FRIDAY
Friday, March 20th will be a 1:30 dismissal so our 8th-12th grade students can prepare for Spring Formal.
FIRST PITCH AT THE MIGHTY MUSSELS CCA SPIRIT GAME
Would your student be interested in throwing out the First Pitch at the Mighty Mussels CCA Spirit Game on April 17? If so, please email Andrea Miyares ( amiyares@discovercca.org ) with your student’s name and grade by March 14. A name will be drawn at random for this special honor. See the sign up section below to purchase tickets for your family and friends to attend this exciting evening.

UPPER SCHOOL SPIRIT WEEK
Monday is All-school Maverick Madness (CCA colors & Spirit gear) and our upper school intramural volleyball game during 6th period. During the game, face painting for lower school students is available for $1.
Wednesday is Upper School Rhyme Without Reason Spirit Day. Pick a friend or a group and dress to represent words that rhyme!
Friday is Upper School Meme Day; Spring Formal for 8th-12th grade students from 6-10pm.
House points awarded for all Spirit Day participants. Sign-up for Spring Formal below in the sign-up section. Sign-up closes Sunday!
NHS BOOK DRIVE
CCA’s National Honor Society chapter will be hosting a Children’s Book Drive during Spirit Week (March 16–20) to benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital Neonatal and Pediatric ICU. We are collecting NEW books for parents to read to infants and toddlers. The hospital has specifically requested books in English, Spanish, and Creole. Students may place donations in their House color collection box in the CCA lobby. House points will be awarded based on number of books donated! Thank you for helping our students serve with compassion and purpose!
NHS ELIGIBILITY NOTICE
CCA’s National Honor Society Chapter is looking forward to welcoming new members! On Monday, March 16, current 10th and 11th grade students with a 3.8+ GPA will be notified of their NHS Eligibility and invited to complete and return Candidate Application to Mrs. Prechtel by Friday, March 20th.

Join us on Friday, April 17, for our School Spirit Night at Hammond Stadium! CCA receives $5 back from every ticket sold through our link. It’s Faith and Family Night as the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels take on the Lakeland Flying Tigers at 7:05 PM. Gates open at 6:00 PM, and the evening will conclude with a spectacular postgame fireworks show!

APRIL BEFORE SCHOOL CARE
If you do not pay for before school care drop off is 8:10 AM for upper school and 8:25 AM for lower school. The deadline to sign up for Before School Care is March 25th. The cost for April is $35.00. If you have registered for before school care drop off is: *6th-12th grade students can be dropped off as early as 7:15 AM and *KP – 5th grade students can be dropped off as early as 8:00 AM. If you have a student in both upper and lower school, you can drop students off at upper school time, 7:15 AM. For help, contact Sarah Snyder at ssnyder@discovercca.org.

FINE ARTS COMPETITION: CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
Calling all budding artists! Students in grades 1-8 are invited to submit an art piece for competition in one of several categories. There is a $16 registration fee payable once your child’s entry has been confirmed. Interested families may email Mr. Rodriguez hrodriguez@discovercca.org for more information.
