Our Programs

Classical Christian Academy is proud to offer accredited hybrid programs that offer parents and students flexibility and support.

CCA's Three-Day Track

  • Structured Routine – Consistent Mon/Wed/Fri schedule, helpful for families who thrive on rhythm.
  • On-Campus Time – More days with teachers and peers, supporting relationships and in-person instruction.
  • Balanced Pace – With more on campus days, students have additional in-person accountability for workload and assignments.
  • Steady Transition – Frequent reinforcement of material across the week.
CCA's Two-Day track
  • Flexible Schedule – Campus days only Tues/Thurs, leaving more time for family activities or extracurriculars.
  • Concentrated Instruction – Fewer but more focused classroom sessions, encouraging independence and responsibility.
  • Parental Involvement – Extra at-home days allow parents to play a bigger role in guiding learning.
  • Adaptability – Great fit for families balancing work, travel, or home education rhythms with classical education.

Hybrid

Classical Christian Academy’s Accredited Hybrid Program blends the best aspects of the home education and private school models. Parents work together in partnership with in-class teachers.

The teachers select the curriculum, make the lesson plans, and provide support for parents as they teach at home.

Hybrid parents have significant responsibility and accountability to ensure at-home work is completed and students comprehend what they’re learning on homeschool days.

We Are Classical

The Classical approach uses the natural development of the child's mind to introduce information, teach them to think through and critically examine information, and express themselves and their own unique ideas.

We Are Christian

We believe Christ should have His rightful place at the center of all we do. CCA families represent different denominations, but are like-minded in terms of our Christian beliefs and application of Biblical truth as it relates to marriage, family, child-rearing, and educational methods and goals.

We Are Hybrid

Our blended classroom and home instruction model provides a unique partnership between parent, student, and teacher. All students are on campus M/W/F and learn at home on Tu/Th. Upper school students (7th-12th) may choose our Hybrid Program or select specific courses and services as part of our Flex Program.

We Are Covenant

CCA is a covenant school. This means that at least one parent from each family must be a professed believer in Jesus Christ, and each family must be actively involved in a local church. Each family also agrees and supports CCA's Statement of Faith. The decisions we make as a community are based on the spiritual and philosophical congruity represented in our faith, our families, and our educational choices.

Understanding our Model

What is Classical Education?

Classical education is a time-tested approach to learning that cultivates wisdom, virtue, and eloquence by drawing from the rich heritage of Western thought. Rooted in the Trivium—Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric—it nurtures a lifelong love of learning by emphasizing critical thinking, strong communication, and a deep understanding of truth, goodness, and beauty.

CCA's Pillars of Classical Learning

The Trivium Approach

Three stages of learning: Grammar (foundation), Logic (reasoning), and Rhetoric (expression).

Great Books & Time-Honored Ideas

Students engage with classical literature, philosophy, and history to shape their worldview.

Virtue & Character Formation

Education is not just about knowledge but cultivating wisdom and moral integrity.

Language Mastery

Strong emphasis on Latin, rich vocabulary, and clear, persuasive communication.

Integration of Subjects

Learning is interconnected, showing the unity of truth across disciplines.

Christ-Centered Perspective

A biblical worldview guides all learning, shaping students to glorify God in their lives and callings.

An Individual Education

Our students benefit from intentionally small class sizes, and an individual approach to education. Students are placed in on-level math and English classes. This means each student is appropriately challenged.

Because CCA blends in-class and at-home learning, students have the ability to spend extra time practicing skills, or they can work quickly through areas they've already mastered. Students are also able to more deeply explore subjects of particular interest.

Flexible

CCA's Hybrid Programs offer a great deal of flexibility for families. Parents and students determine how the timing of their home education days work.

The Hybrid program doesn't just offer time management, there is flexibility in perspective as well. We've seen success in every approach: from scheduled and planned, to laidback and casual. YOU get to decide what works best for your family.

Parent Partnership

Our tagline is "Discover what we can do together." We mean it! Our model allows us to create intentional and meaningful partnerships between teachers, parents and students. Please read our Partnership Agreement for an overview of the responsibilities and expectations for CCA families.

Affordability

We strive to keep CCA affordable for families. CCA families are eligible for Step Up's PEP (Personalized Education Program) Scholarship. Parents can apply for tuition reimbursement, curriculum, field trips, and more.
