The teachers at Classical Christian Academy strive to make their classrooms a warm, welcoming environment that makes learning fun. This year our teachers have put a strong emphasis on how their classrooms look this year and we think the classrooms look fantastic!
This year, our Lower School students are studying astronomy and the stars for science. Science is Ms. Maddux’s favorite subject to teach so it’s no surprised her classroom highlights her passion! She worked tirelessly to bring the night sky into her classroom, complete with a rocket blasting off!

Mrs. Repke teaches Upper School Spanish and has done her best to create a welcoming cultural feel in her classroom. She writes Bible verses in Spanish and displays them on her wall. The lamps she turns on in her class, rather than the harsh ceiling lights, create a calm atmosphere where her students love to learn.

Mrs. Eastman’s third and fourth graders just love the time they get to spend in her carefully thought out reading corner. Jessica worked so hard before school started to install a beautiful canopy and hanging lanterns, so her students forget where they are reading and get lost in the pages of their book. Her wall signs and decorations reinforce that family feel.

Mrs. Flower is another wonderful CCA teacher who puts a lot of thought and effort into the set up of her classroom. The playful monsters on her wall bring smiles and giggles to the faces of her students and make being at school a fun and engaging experience! Mrs. Flower brought in large oversized cushions to her reading corner because she knows young readers enjoy reading in a variety of positions. Her monster behavior chart is a creative way to display her classroom expectations.

Our Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Edwards has a fun way to bring creativity to her classroom. She found a vintage suitcase and she decorates it as her class transitions from unit to unit. Her students get excited to see new decorations in her room and try to make connections from her decorations to what they’re learning. Her work and effort makes learning so much fun for her students!

We hope this small glimpse in to the classrooms of our CCA teachers has been fun. Our team puts in such hard work and so much heart into all they do for their students. The smallest details are never overlooked and everything has a plan and a purpose. Our teachers work hard to make their classrooms fun and inviting but the best item in each room are the students who fill the seats.
