CCA is so blessed to give families in Southwest Florida the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of homeschooling and still have the benefits of traditional schooling. Our school is so unique and it requires unique teachers to help everything function smoothly. Mrs. Tricia Urbanek is one of our many wonderful teachers.
The Urbanek Family
Mrs. Urbanek is originally from Long Island, New York and grew up loving to watch the seasons change. She attended St. Joseph’s College in New York and changed her major three times before realizing that God was calling her to teach. We are so grateful she listened intently to God’s voice because we would not be blessed with her if she had not! “God is so good. He turned me in the right direction and paved the way for me to become a teacher,” she says. Mrs. Urbanek and her husband have two daughters, both enrolled at CCA. “I love the Christian model and CCA allows us to homeschool.” This year is Mrs. Urbanek’s second year at CCA and she is teaching Language Arts 1 and Saxon 2 for our Lower School students.

When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Urbanek loves to craft and watch any of the Star Wars movies. She loves spending time with her family and her two Rhodesian ridgeback dogs.
It’s clear that Mrs. Urbanek has been blessed with the gift of teaching and our school has been blessed by her as well. We are so glad to have her on our team!
