Registration Now Open For Community Archery Tournament

North Fort Myers private school, Classical Christian Academy, opens registration to its annual bulls-eye tournament.

Student archers in 5th through 12th grade can now register for the annual Archery Tournament at Classical Christian Academy. This bull’s-eye event is open to the public. Archers will be placed into age groups for fair competition.

During the scoring rounds, each archer will have five minutes to shoot five arrows at each of the three distances: 10, 15 and 20 yards. Archers can use a school bow or bring a bow for competition. Only long, recurve, and compound bows are permitted. Neither crossbows nor, sights or scopes can be used during competition. Each bow will be inspected by our range officer and all final decisions are left to his discretion for the purpose of fairness and safety.

Each registered archer will receive an event shirt and a BBQ meal. Other guests can preorder a meal for $7. A bounce house and additional games will also be at the event. Trophies will be awarded for the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place shooters in each age group.

Event Date:                        Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
